New formation working well
DAWLISH Town’s pursuit of Willand Rovers’ targetman Carl Cliff-Brown appears to be over.As reported in the Gazette two weeks ago, Seasiders manager Jeff Evans was aiming to persuade Cliff-Brown to return to Sandy Lane after putting in seven days’ notice of approach for the former Dawlish forward.
But Evans says that Cliff-Brown has failed to answer his calls and that he is now going to ‘move on’ in his striker search, although he is not overly concerned after Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Longwell Green Sports
