The under 18s squad had a one half run out against Topsham Town in a friendly at Sandy Lane to let the management team see them for the first time in a game situation. Although they lost 2-0, the Management team were very happy with what they saw. "This was the first time we saw the ever growing squad together," said football developement officer John Bennett, "We had three new players who we had never had before, but they will fit in with what we have planned. We have several games lined up for the new year when the squad will really come into their own. Some of the under 18 squad are already playing for other teams within Dawlish and teams in the Devon & Exeter League which shows how strong they are. This season some will hopefully knocking on the door of  the first team at Dawlish."

England play Romania at Bristol City FC on 21st of August, with a kick off time of 7.45pm.

John Bennett under 18s Manager has 11 tickets available for the game on a first come first served basis for players at under 16s and under 18s.

A new Management Structure has been put into place with new Managers and Coaches, hopefully with both teams supplying future players for the Senior and Reserve teams.Training will be held on Tuesday Nights on the All Weather pitch at Dawlish every week.

The Web site has been designed with a section for the Youth Teams, which will be updated on a regular basis with all the team news, matches, results etc.

We want to build on the Youth sides from previous seasons. Training will start on the 31st of July 2007 at 7.00pm meeting outside Seasider's Sports Bar.

We will welcome existing and new players.
